A previous manager was my current manager but at a different company. I was newly hired and expecting a raise based on recent performance. I was not aware she was my manager until the end of the day and her work husband came to talk to her and she opened her office door. When I looked at her she'd changed to someone that wasn't my current manager and my thinking was she was a middle manager but my direct supervisor. My in-dream thought was of not further highlighting to my manager how much she cost me financially with a standard rating this year during a call we had after the bonus discussion. The dream continued with me traveling with an unrecognized man that I was currently dating getting into my new car with me in the parking lot. I work remotely in my waking life. My new car combusted after using the convertible top. I actually do not own or plan to own a convertible. We ended up walking to a bookstore that morphed into a book area in a convenience store and had lighthearted discussion on books. I attempted to call my uncle or father during this time but my cell phone disintegrated so we asked to use a landline phone at the store. My male relative stated he would be there shortly (I'm assuming to take us home). The cashier went from being not busy at all when we arrived to now being overwhelmingly busy with receiving calls and checking people out. End of dream.
